Event Programme

On Riga’s birthday, on November 11^th Embankment, every Rigan and guest of the city will find something to enjoy at the “Open Riga! Code: 825” celebration on the embankment.

Event hosts: New Riga Theatre actor Toms Harjo and Latvian National Theatre actor Matīss Kučinskis.

22.00 Concert Programme “My Score Riga”

Featuring Shipsea, Andrejs Reinis Zitmanis, Jānis Aišpurs, Aija Andrejeva, Jurģis Namejs Zvejnieks, Gustavo, Māra Upmane-Holšteina, Elīna Šimkus, Uldis Leiškalns, the youth choir Kamēr…, Riga Chamber Choir Ave Sol, the rhythm section, and the wind group of the chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga.

The concert will also feature performances by dancers representing a variety of styles, as well as bike trial riders, roller skating performers, and parkour athletes.
Hosts: Gerds Lapoška, actor at the New Riga Theatre, and Elza Rūta Jordāne, actress at the Latvian National Theatre.

Climax of the evening 23:30–02:00

Embark on an unforgettable journey through time and space, where lasers, music, light, water, and breathtaking special effects come together in a spectacular multimedia experience.

Hundreds of laser beams will illuminate the night sky, while three water screens rising up to 20 metres above the Daugava will become the canvas for a specially created video production. Accompanied by an immersive musical score, the visual narrative will continue the stories introduced during the grand concert.
All of this will unfold on the waters of the Daugava.
As the night continues, the celebration moves into an open-air party featuring renowned Latvian DJs Linda Samsonova and Magnus Eriņš. Their music, combined with dazzling laser displays and dynamic light shows reflected across the waters of the Daugava, will keep the energy alive well into the night.
