Classical Music Concert: 825 Melodic Moments

Riga Festival Symfony Orchestra, Conductors: Normunds Dreģis and Guntars Bernāts, Jolanta Strikaite (soprano), Artūrs Noviks (bandoneon), Vladimirs Kudrins (guitar), Matvejs Triškins (guitar), VEF Culture Palace violin ensemble “Kantilēna”.

This concert is designed as a magnificent symphonic finale to the park concert series. The core of the two-part concert programme will be orchestral works, with melodies unfolding through waltzes, tangos, and other dance-inspired rhythms, highlighting Riga as one of the richest centres of European musical culture.

Meanwhile, the guitar duo of Matvejs Triškins and Vladimirs Kudrins, together with the violin ensemble “Kantilēna,” will create an intimate park atmosphere through music by J. S. Bach, G. Rossini, M. de Falla, A. Vivaldi, N. Paganini, E. Dārziņš, and other composers.
