Concert of the bands “Dzeltenie postnieki” and “Tante Gaida”

Latvian alternative music legends Dzeltenie pastnieki and the new-generation band Tante Gaida will take the stage at the Kalnciema Quarter. The concert will bring together musical perspectives from different generations, ranging from experimental and ironic traditions to poetic, multi-layered indie sounds.

Every Thursday in August — on August 6, 13, 20, and 27 — the Kalnciema Quarter will host an open-air concert series offering high-quality live music, intergenerational encounters, and informal cultural experiences in an urban setting. The concerts will take place in the courtyard of the Kalnciema Quarter, an ensemble of restored 19th-century wooden buildings that has been one of Riga’s most recognizable creative and cultural spaces for more than 15 years.
