Group “Kautkaili”

The 2026 summer concert season at Vērmanes Garden will conclude with a performance by Kautkaili, the trio of musicians Kristīne Pāže, Didzis Bardo, and Krists Krūskops. The band’s distinctive sound is rooted in musical explorations of nostalgia, fusing Latvian alternative pop influences from the 1990s with wordly soul and rich, modern sound layers.

At the heart of Kautkaili is a singer-songwriter Kristīne Pāže, whose velvety vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting draw listeners into a deeply emotional and immersive world. Following the release of their critically acclaimed 2025 album “Personas Kods”, the band performed two sold-out concerts at the Palladium Concert Hall before embarking on their first electro-acoustic Latvian tour.

Earlier this year, Kautkaili finished as runners-up in Latvia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Supernova. The band was also nominated for the 2025 Gamma Awards in the categories Group of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year.
