Edavārdi and Eliots Present the HIPHOPS Concert Programme

The joint concert by Edavārdi and Eliots on August 26 will bring this year’s Riga Summer at Dzegužkalns Music Park program to a close. Two of Latvia’s leading hip-hop artists, whose creative partnership spans many years, will perform a programme featuring both their most popular compositions and songs they have created together.

Over more than fifteen years of creative activity, Edavārdi has established himself as one of the most recognizable voices in Latvian hip-hop. His music is known for its introspective lyrics, blending everyday observations with pointed irony and, at times, a compelling yet always honest views of people’s relationship with themselves, their surroundings, and the times they live in. He has been nominated several times for the Latvian Music Recording Award “Golden Microphone”, regularly performs at major Latvian music festivals, and is an active member of the groups PKI, Riekstu Armija, and Singapūras Satīns.

Eliots is one of Latvia’s most experienced hip-hop artists, best known as a member of PKI and Singapūras Satīns. Alongside his work with these groups, he has built a successful solo career, combining technically skilled rap, witty use of language, clever wordplay and sharp social commentary.
